Terms and Conditions for MakerProfit

1. Overview

MakerProfit is a profit tracker for makers running one or more software products. You record money in and money out per project — typed, imported from Stripe or Lemon Squeezy, or imported from a CSV — and MakerProfit shows what is left, per project and per month. By using MakerProfit you agree to these terms.

MakerProfit is not an accountant, a tax service or financial advice. Its figures are arithmetic on the data you give it, and you remain responsible for your own accounts and taxes. It never moves money: a provider connection uses a restricted, read-only key.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a link sent to your email, or with Google or X. You must use an address you control, be at least 18, and keep your access to yourself. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

3. Plans and billing

• Free — one project, forever, no card required.
• Solo — $9/month or $89/year, up to 3 projects.
• Portfolio — $29/month or $288/year, unlimited projects, plus shared costs, contractors, payables and CSV import.

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars, excluding any tax Stripe adds at checkout. MakerProfit never sees your card number.

A price change applies from your next renewal, never retroactively, and is announced in the app at least 30 days before.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel anytime from the billing screen in your account; you keep the paid features until the end of the period already paid. EU consumers can withdraw within 14 days of the first payment for a full refund. The full rules are on the refunds page, which is part of these terms.

Cancelling never deletes your data: the account returns to the free tier and everything stays exportable.

5. Your data

Your data is yours. You grant MakerProfit only what it needs to store it, compute it and show it back to you. It is never sold and never used to train a model. You can export all of it, on every plan. See the privacy policy.

6. Acceptable use

Do not upload data or provider keys you have no right to use, try to access another account, overload or work around the service’s limits, resell or scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful. An account that does can be suspended or closed, with a warning and a chance to export first where that is reasonable.

7. Availability and liability

MakerProfit is provided as is, without an uptime guarantee. Provider imports depend on third parties and can fail. Keep your own export of anything you cannot afford to lose.

To the extent the law allows, MakerProfit’s liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before a claim, and excludes indirect loss, lost profits and lost data. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or liability that cannot legally be limited.

8. Updates to these terms

Material changes are announced in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, and the date above changes. If you do not accept them, cancel and export before they apply.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in.
